# Paige Setup Agent Instructions

## Instructions (Read this before starting)

Use the following instructions to onboard my clients to my Paige account keeping in mind all SEO best practices for local businesses like the one you're onboarding, and if I didn't give you a setting or preference, just leave the default one that's selected. If there are multiple white labels that it asks you to pick when you're onboarding them, just pick the first one in the dropdown unless I told you which white label it belongs to. This instruction set goes alongside meeting notes from the onboarding call with the client and possibly sales call notes as well. I would have given you all context in the request. If you don't see the business I'm trying to onboard, it might be under a somewhat similar name to what I gave you, but if you're not certain, just ask me before onboarding them. Also, if you don't see any possible matches, click the option to refresh the businesses in the list, and it will try to pull it in to make it available since that means Paige didn't update my businesses since getting access to this GBP. If it doesnt show up after refreshing it let me know since I probably forgot to accept their management invite. You start off the process of adding a business by clicking on the Businesses tab then Add a business. You have my permission to enable adding a business to Paige even though there will be an added recurring cost. If the business doesn't have a logo already go to their website and save their logo and then upload it to Paige. By the way, my platform might be called and branded something other than Paige, which Paige is a white label tool I'm using. Once you're done going through the onboarding flow, I want you to send me all the information I asked you to send me in the End of Setup Requirements notes in text, not as files. If you get stuck on anything, use the "Get Help" button in the bottom left of the account to chat with another AI chatbot that can give you answers. Open up the train Paige module when you get to the automate posting tab during onboarding, and add all of the train Paige and website data at that step. The train Paige feature is intended to just add style suggestions. If the client mentioned they want certain types of content to sound a certain type of way, like things to mention or not mention in posts, or how to handle postiive or negative reviews in terms of things to include or not include, etc., you should not add any other instructions around target cities or target keywords or strategy, since Paige already knows best and you may override its best practices accidentally. Don't click the option to have Paige improve your training notes, just save them as is. Make sure to save all info for Train Paige + Website Data + Personality before moving to the next step; you may need to re-open the popup each time you click save and continue from there. There are more instructions under the train Paige instruction below for how to do this. The software you're onboarding them to is called Paige by Merchynt. You can learn more about it to get context about what it is and what it does at www.merchynt.com/paige to have a better understanding of what the task that you're assigned is all about so you can do it the best possible, and you can also find their KB at https://support.merchynt.com/kb/ which might help you get more context about any of the features that you're trying to set up, if you're not confident on how to do something. You can definitely subscribe to recurring charges. Also don't worry about the popup warning if the audit area is too large. Just close it out and make the best decision for the area you think we should audit for this business. It's important that you get the audit area selection right so take the time to make sure you pick the smallest possible audit area that definitely covers their target cities inside it. You can approve Paige's recommendations on the optimization step, but do not touch the business categories option since if you get that wrong it can suspend the GBP. Don't worry if, when onboarding, it says that this profile is suspended. Continue anyway. Your job is to get through all of these steps seamlessly bugging me only if you think you'll cause huge issues if you make mistakes. If I forgot to give you the client's email, please ask me before starting, since you'll need it for different areas of the setup. You need to remind yourself of the notes as you go to each onboarding step so that you don't miss anything important. You only need to grab the social invite links one time per social channel since the posts and videos share the same authentication when possible. When you're setting up all the automation steps, you must click the Save and/or Continue button at the bottom right of each of those screens. If you click on the left mini menu to jump around the automation settings, it won't actually turn anything on.

## Paige Section

Notes

### Target Keyword Selection

Choose 10 keywords, picking 2 that include "near me", 2 that include the city they're located in, 3 primary keywords, the rest long tail

### Important City Selection

Add up to three target cities. Even if the client gave more, pick three that are touching each other on the map. If it's a physical business with an address like a restaurant you should just pick the city they're located in as their Target City since it wont make sense to add other cities.

### Audit Area Selection

If the business has a physical address on their Google Business Profile, then keep it centered where they're located. Only change the audit area size to make it just big enough to cover the target cities that we selected on the important city selection screen. We do not want this much larger than needed. Take the time to make the right decision on where to place the center pin and how large to make the audit area. You can ignore the warnings about the area being too big if you see them pop up.

### Optimization Screen

Paige is going to make a bunch of recommendations for you to change. Go through them all diligently, and it's okay to accept them, but do not approve any changes to the business categories, since if you get this wrong, it can suspend the client's Google profile. Instead, save Paige's recommendations and the current values so you can send them to me as part of the end-of-setup requirements.

### Automation - Image Upload

Set the link password to a shortened version of the business's name with 1! at the end of it. For example, if you're setting up ABC Business Co, LLC, make the password something like ABCBusiness1

### Automation - Automate Posting

Generate the invite links for all the social media platforms that you can, because I'll want you to send them to me at the end. Enable the feature that can publish reviews as posts from time to time.

### Automation - Review Management

Copy the automated review request campaign sender setting where it lets you copy the Google connection link, because I'll want this later. Set the automated review replies to automate the response fully for 4- and 5-star reviews, and to draft a reply to approve for 1-, 2-, and 3-star reviews. Send the approvals to the client and dont show these approval tasks in my dashboard.

### Automation - Automate Videos

Turn on approvals and have them go to me. I want all the videos to be horizontal. Not to use B-roll. Turn on text overlay. Turn off image effects. Use the original logo.

### Automation - Website & AI SEO

Copy all the values from the recommendations table because I'll want you to send them to me later. Look at the clients actual website design and css etc and update the widgets so they fit in better with their design preferences by modifying the embed code Paige gives however possible without breaking it.

### Automation - Account Manager

Turn on all alerts and make sure that they're going to the client, except that I want the alert for when a change is made to your profile to go to my email address which you can see in the onboarding wherever it had approvals going to "me" since it shows my email there. Under the setting "Who should receive a copy of the response?", have it go to me email address. Also, make it so the frequency at which we ask customers for updates is every 10 days instead of the default setting on the question that says, "I want to know if there's anything new in your business to post about."

### Automation - Reporting

Keep all default settings

### Automation - Calendar

Export the content calendar in Month view because I want you to send it to me. If there are fewer than 5 days left in the current month, toggle to the next month and export that view instead. There's an export button under the Calendar itself.

### Reviews Tab

Open the review link settings tab and customize all wording for the review tool and PhotoBoost UIs to match the business type perfectly. Make the feedback form go to the client's email. Also, make it so that the photo boost approval emails go to the client instead of us.

### Citations Tab

Do not turn on Citations unless I asked you to elsewhere. Do not make up an address for the business if it's asked of you, instead continue with the setup and flag this with me when you're done alongside the end of setup requirements so I can give you an address or do it myself.

### Settings - Users

Invite my client as a user giving them access to only their business and hide all tabs except give them VIEW permissions on Reports, Citations (only if you were able to successfully enable Citations), and Edit permissions on Images

### Train Paige

The train Paige feature allows us to customize how Paige writes all the different types of content. If the client made any requests, this is where you would put them as new notes under the correct category. Also, click on the website data tab in the trust Paige pop-up and read the information collected from their website by Paige. Add anything that you think is important that I collected in the sales or onboarding call that you have access to. It's important that the website data is as complete as possible, since that's how we'll make sure all the content created in this tool is hyper-personalized to this business. Update the personality tab in this pop-up as well to match how you think this business owner is going to want the content to sound based on things they said and on the type of business and who they're typically trying to sell to, and what the client said on the calls. When adding train Paige notes for the different content that Paige creates, don't add the SEO strategy or anything like that unless something was explicitly requested by the client or me. The intention of the train Paige is just to give guidance around how things should sound. You don't need to make up best practices if the client didn't request any of that themselves. Also, when writing the website data, you don't need to mention the source or the name of anybody that provided the information. Also, don't include any personal identifying information like email addresses, or internal only info such as what CRM they use, etc. This should just include info on the business that you'd put on the website for the public to see.

### End of Setup Requirements

Send me the Image Upload Link and its password, all social media invite links for posts/videos (1 per channel - posts and videos can share the same link per channel), their review request link, the Google Connection link from the review campaign sender settings area. Send me all of the website recommendations and the embed code for all widgets shown on the website recommendations table. Send me the QR code graphic on the Review tab for this business by clicking the download button under it. Don't try taking a screenshot or anything else, just download it using the option inside Paige. Also, remind me of anything that I told the client I would do during the calls, so I remember to do it. Make this end-of-setup requirements message to me very clear and concise and make it easy for me to copy the different values. Give me the handoff info in just text, don't give me files I need to download. Also tell me what Paige suggested I change the business categories too if it says it's not already optimized.
