How To Set Up Your White Label Newsletter
Paige’s white-label weekly newsletter lets Agency Partner Program subscribers send agency-branded content to leads and clients. Learn how to connect your domain, add contacts, choose approvers, schedule delivery, and customize your newsletter.
The white-label weekly newsletter helps you stay in touch with your agency’s leads and existing clients. Available to Merchynt Agency Partner Program subscribers, it repurposes Merchynt’s Wednesday newsletter into content for your agency, removing all mentions of Paige and Merchynt. You control the branding, content, mailing list, and sending schedule.
Your monthly email allowance
Your Agency Partner Program subscription includes 10,000 newsletter emails each month as a Partner Perk.
Set up your white-label newsletter
1. Open the newsletter settings
- Go to Settings, then White Label.
- Click the pencil icon next to the white label you want to configure.
- Select Newsletter from the top menu.
Complete the setup sections in the order below.
2. Connect your sending domain
Connect your agency’s domain from the newsletter setup screen.
The connection process uses a CNAME record, a type of domain setting, to set up a dedicated newsletter subdomain. For example, if your domain is abcagency.com, your newsletter sending subdomain will be newsletter.abcagency.com.
Your newsletters are sent through this subdomain. Your agency is responsible for maintaining its sending reputation—how trustworthy email providers consider your sending activity.
Sending to invalid addresses or contacts who report your messages as spam can make future newsletters less likely to reach the inbox. Only add valid email addresses belonging to people who expect to hear from you, and build your mailing list gradually.
3. Complete your sender details
In Sender Details, enter:
- From Name: The sender name you want recipients to see.
- Reply to - Email: The email address where recipients can send replies.
- Mailing Address: Your agency’s mailing address.
Paige requires these details to support anti-spam compliance. Your mailing address and an unsubscribe link appear at the bottom of every newsletter and cannot be removed.
4. Add contacts to your mailing list
Open Contacts to manage your mailing list.
By default, leads collected through your white-label GBP Audit Tool are automatically added to your newsletter mailing list. You can also add contacts using any of the methods below.
Upload a CSV
A CSV is a spreadsheet saved in a simple file format for importing data.
- Prepare a CSV with a column headed exactly
Email. - Put the email addresses you want to add beneath that header.
- Optionally include a
First Namecolumn. Paige accepts first names, but they are not currently used in newsletters. - Under Upload your list, drag your CSV into the upload area or click browse to select it.
You can import up to 500 new contacts via CSV every 30 days. This limit helps reduce the risk of adding too many contacts at once and having your newsletter flagged as spam. It is separate from your monthly allowance of 10,000 emails.
Treat 500 as a limit, not a monthly target. We recommend growing your mailing list slowly over time.
Add contacts manually
Use Add Manually to add individual email addresses to your mailing list.
Add a subscription form to your website
Under Website Form, you can customize the signup form and copy the code needed to embed it on your website.
The available text settings include:
- Form Heading
- Input Placeholder Text
- Button Label
Copy the embed code into your website where you want visitors to subscribe. For additional styling help, you can give the code to your preferred AI tool and describe the appearance you want.
Add contacts through a webhook
A webhook lets another system automatically send contact details to Paige.
Use the connection details and example provided in the Webhook section of your newsletter setup screen. The instructions include authentication using an API key from Integrations.
To find your white label ID:
- Open the newsletter setup screen for the correct white label.
- Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar.
- Copy the ID immediately after
/whitelabel/, stopping before the next slash, if there is one.
Use that ID when configuring your webhook.
5. Choose who receives approval emails
Open Approvals to choose who Paige should ask to approve each newsletter.
By default, approval emails go to the primary email address on your Paige account. You can add more recipients by entering their email addresses and clicking Add.
A newsletter will not be sent until it is approved.
Important: Paige does not create a dashboard task for newsletter approvals. Check your email each week for the approval request.
6. Set your sending schedule
In Scheduling:
- Choose the day you want your weekly newsletter sent.
- Set the Sending start time, including the hour, minute, and time zone.
- Click Save to save your configuration.
Wednesday is unavailable because Merchynt sends its own newsletter at varying times that day. Choosing another day avoids having your scheduled send depend on when Wednesday’s newsletter becomes available.
Your approved newsletter is scheduled for the next occurrence of your selected day after Merchynt’s Wednesday newsletter:
- Friday: That Wednesday’s newsletter is scheduled for Friday, two days later.
- Tuesday: That Wednesday’s newsletter is scheduled for the following Tuesday, six days later.
The time you choose is when sending begins. Paige may spread out delivery to help reduce the risk of messages being marked as spam, so every contact may not receive the newsletter at the same moment.
Customize your newsletter
The controls on the right side of the newsletter setup screen let you adjust your writing style, the current newsletter’s content, and the template’s design.
Train Paige on your brand voice
Select Train Paige to tell Paige how your agency should sound.
Use this area to describe your preferred tone, voice, and writing style so Paige can adapt the newsletter to your brand.
Edit the current newsletter
Select Edit Newsletter to change the newsletter currently queued for your mailing list.
You can edit its:
- Subject line
- Title
- Body
To get help rewriting any of these fields, click the AI icon at the top right of that field. Tell Paige what you want changed, and she will write a new option.
Edit the newsletter template
Select Edit Template to customize the newsletter’s design.
By default, the template includes your agency’s logo, a general banner, and the image used for that week’s newsletter. The call-to-action button near the bottom links to your agency’s homepage.
When editing the template, keep these merge tags. Merge tags are placeholders that insert your agency details and the current newsletter’s content:
- Agency name:
{{agency_name}} - Newsletter title:
{{newsletter_title}} - Newsletter body:
{{newsletter_body}} - Newsletter image:
{{newsletter_image}} - Agency website:
{{agency_url}}
You can customize the design and layout, but the required mailing address and unsubscribe link must remain in the footer.
Send yourself a test newsletter
On the newsletter setup screen, click Send test newsletter to me in Sender Details.
The test goes to the primary email address on your Paige account. Use it to review the content, branding, layout, and links before approving the newsletter for your contacts.
Review your newsletter metrics
To view your newsletter’s performance:
- Go to Settings, then White Label.
- Click the pencil icon next to the white label you want to review.
- Select Newsletter from the top menu.
- At the top of the configuration area, switch from Settings to Metrics.
You can review:
- The number of subscribers on your mailing list
- The number of emails sent
- Your bounce rate—the percentage of emails that could not be delivered
- Contacts who unsubscribed
Use these metrics to keep track of your mailing list and spot potential delivery problems as it grows.
