Canonical: https://support.merchynt.com/kb/article/image-upload-link-overview

Upload photos and videos to Paige using your Image Upload Link. Learn to edit descriptions, crop photos, and check your image queue.

The Image Upload Link gives you and your clients an easy way to upload photos and short videos to Paige from a phone or computer. Whether you’re out on a job, in your shop, or capturing a finished project, you can add fresh media while you’re there.

## Find your Image Upload Link

1. Open **Automations** in your Paige account.
2. Select **Upload Images**.
3. Find your Image Upload Link and open it, or share it with your client.

Your link uses this format:

Use the actual link shown in your account rather than the example above.

For agencies, this tool is fully white-labeled and hosted on the neutral `uploadmyimages.com` domain, rather than a Paige-branded address. The upload page is mobile-responsive, so clients can use it directly from their phones.

### Set or change the password

The upload page is password-protected to help prevent unauthorized access and uploads. You and your clients will need the link’s password to access it.

To set or change the password, go to **Automations → Upload Images** and update it under **Set link password**.

When a reminder is sent because your image supply is running low, it includes the password for convenience. Share the link and password only with people you trust to upload and manage your business’s images.

## Upload photos or videos

You can upload commonly used photo formats, including **Live Photos, HEIC, JPEG, and PNG**. Videos must be **MP4** and **25 MB or smaller**.

**Before uploading:** If you have a Paige-powered website with a gallery section, all uploaded images appear in that gallery by default. Make sure the photos you upload are suitable for visitors to see.

1. **Open your Image Upload Link** and enter the password.
2. **Select your media.** Click or tap **Choose Files** to select photos or videos. On a computer, you can also drag and drop media into the upload area.
3. **Check the upload progress.** The tool shows progress and indicates when the upload is complete.
4. **Add an optional description.** After a photo finishes uploading, you can describe what’s in it.

Images added during your current session appear below the upload area with a **New** tag in the top-left corner of their thumbnails. This helps you distinguish the photos you just added from previously uploaded images.

## Review your images and Google upload queue

After entering the password, you can browse images already uploaded to Paige by you or your clients, as well as the images you’ve just added.

The images are separated into two groups:

- **Waiting to be added to Google:** Images still in the queue for your Google Business Profile.
- **Already added to Google:** Images that have already been added to your Google Business Profile.

Paige adds queued images to your Google Business Profile gradually, every couple of days. Checking the waiting images helps you see how many are left before you need to upload more.

### Choose how Paige uses your images

The images shown in this tool also appear in the **Media Library** inside your Paige account.

From the Media Library, you can select which marketing purposes you want the images used for, such as posts, videos, or the Google Media Library.

## View and edit image details

Click or tap an image’s preview thumbnail to open its details. You can see its upload date, description, optimized filename, and geographic coordinates added by Paige.

### How Paige optimizes uploaded images

When you upload an image, Paige automatically prepares its SEO details, including its description, optimized filename, and geographic coordinates. These details help prepare the image for use on Google and other platforms.

**Paige preserves existing geotag information.** Geotags are location details stored in a photo. If your photo already contains that information, Paige does not replace it. Instead, Paige fills in missing information while preserving real location data.

### Edit an image’s meta description

The meta description is the text describing what’s in the image. You can update it to add context or correct a detail.

1. Open the image by clicking or tapping its preview thumbnail.
2. Click or tap the **meta description** box and edit the text.
3. Stop typing and wait **3 seconds** for your changes to save automatically.

When the description saves, Paige further optimizes it for SEO by naturally incorporating your keywords and target cities. Your description provides the context, and Paige refines the wording.

## Crop or delete a photo

### Crop a photo

**Important: Cropping is permanent and cannot be undone.** Make sure you’re happy with the area you’re keeping before completing the crop.

1. Click or tap a photo’s preview thumbnail to open the expanded image.
2. On a phone, tap the expanded image to reveal the crop option. On a computer, hover your mouse over it.
3. Choose **Freeform** for custom dimensions, **Portrait**, **Landscape**, or **3:4**, then crop the photo.

### Delete a photo

Only delete a photo if you no longer want Paige to use it.

Open the photo by clicking or tapping its preview thumbnail, then use the delete option.
