If you've just finished the optimizations inside Paige, turned on your automations, and then checked your optimization score expecting a big jump, you're not alone. That third factor is the one most people overlook, and it carries the most weight.

Why the 90-Day Window Matters

Paige looks at the trailing 90 days because that's how Google critiques profiles. Google isn't just checking whether your profile is complete today — it's looking for evidence of steady, ongoing activity. That means:

• Constant photos being added
• Constant reviews being added
• Other information being active
• Information kept up to date, complete, and optimized

The score reflects whether those things are happening consistently over the last 90 days, not whether you did a one-time cleanup.

When You Should Expect to See Improvement

You should not expect your optimization rating — calculated by Paige and shown inside the platform — to start improving drastically until around the 4th month of using Paige.

That timeline isn't a delay or a flaw. It resembles actual SEO improvement timelines, because it's measuring the same kind of sustained activity that real search performance depends on. The trailing 90-day window has to fill with consistent activity before the score can meaningfully reflect it, which is why the fourth month is when things typically start to shift.
