Learn how to upload images and videos to Paige, how they’re optimized and scheduled, and where they’re used across your Google Business Profile, posts, & videos.

Uploading **images and videos** to your Google Business Profile regularly is extremely important — and that’s exactly why Paige makes this easy and automated.

Google rewards **consistency**, not one-time upload bursts. So instead of uploading everything at once, Paige optimizes your media and then **drips it out over time** to your Google Business Profile (and other citations if you enable them).

In short: you upload → Paige does the heavy lifting → Google sees consistent, high-quality activity.

## What Paige Does Automatically for Images 📸

When you upload an image to Paige, here’s what happens behind the scenes:

- **Image scanning:** Paige analyzes the image to understand what it’s about
- **SEO-friendly file naming:** The image is renamed using a smart combination of your keywords + what’s in the photo
- **Meta description:** Paige writes an SEO-optimized image description targeting your keywords and important cities
- **Geo-tagging:** The image is geo-tagged to a random lat/long from the audit area you selected during setup (unless your device already geo-tagged it)

Paige makes sure **every image is as SEO-friendly as possible** without you needing to do anything extra.

## Where Your Images Are Used

Images uploaded to Paige aren’t just for one thing — they’re reused intelligently across your marketing:

Once uploaded, your images will appear in a **queue on this tab**, where Paige schedules and publishes them based on your settings.

## Starter Content (Already Done for You)

To help you get started right away, Paige automatically pulled in **25 of your most recent images from your Google Business Profile**.

These are used as starter content for:

- Posts
- Videos

This keeps things running until you add more of your own images.

## Trust Paige vs Custom Frequency

You can choose how often images are published.

## Trust Paige (Recommended)

This option uses data-backed automation created by our data science team.

For images:

- If you have **enough images**, Paige publishes **one every day**
- If you don’t have at least a week’s worth in the queue images are scheduled every **two days** with a **+1 / -1 day wobble**, meaning they may post every **1–3 days**

This wobble makes activity look more natural and less automated to Google. Trust Paige frequencies change dynamically as our data scientists analyze what’s working best.

## Set a Custom Frequency For Uploading Images

If you want full control:

1. Turn off **Trust Paige**
2. Choose **Set Custom Setting**
3. Select your preferred posting frequency

## Uploading Videos 🎥

You can also upload **videos** to Paige.

Important things to know:

- Videos **must be 45 seconds or less** (Google limitation)
- Videos uploaded to Paige:
    - ✅ Are added to your **Google Business Profile media section**
    - ❌ Are **not** used inside Paige-created videos or posts

If a video exceeds 45 seconds, it will be rejected automatically.

## 3\. Integrations & Automations

If you store media elsewhere, Paige can automatically pull it in:

- **Open Webhook System:** Automatically send images from almost any software or storage system
- **Google Drive Import:** Pull images in once using _Import from Google Drive_
- **CompanyCam Integration:** Ideal if you already manage job site photos in CompanyCam

## Managing All Your Images in Paige

You can view and manage **every image Paige has for your business**:

1. Click the **top-right icon**
2. Select **Images**

From here you can:

- See all images inside Paige
- See whether each image has been uploaded or not
- Choose how each image is used:
    - Posts
    - Videos
    - Google Business Profile Media section
    - Or **not used at all**

## Media Requirements & Rejections ⚠️

To protect your accounts and follow platform rules:

- Images with **uncommon dimensions** may be rejected due to restrictions from:
    - Google
    - Facebook
    - Instagram
    - LinkedIn
- Videos longer than **45 seconds** will be rejected automatically
