Using AI Tools like ChatGPT or Claude to Onboard Clients to Paige Automatically
Use popular AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to automatically onboard your clients to Paige
Let ChatGPT Fully Onboard Your Clients to Paige
AI can fully onboard a Google Business Profile to your Paige account for you. Give it your client notes, our setup instruction file, and access to Paige, and it can complete the onboarding using your preferred settings.
The instruction file contains the detailed directions, so your message to ChatGPT can stay simple. You can use this for agency clients or your own business.

See ChatGPT complete the process from start to finish:
How to get started
1. Download the instruction file
Download Paige Setup Agent Instructions.md, attached to this article. This tells the AI how to navigate Paige, complete the setup, and send you the information you need afterward.
Read through it once to make sure the preferences match how you want clients set up. You can reuse the same file for future clients.
2. Upload your client notes
Start a conversation in ChatGPT and attach:
- The Paige setup instruction file.
- Your client's onboarding call transcript or notes. Sales call notes and other useful business information can go here too.
The AI uses these details to personalize the setup. Add anything important that wasn't covered in the notes.
3. Open Paige and connect your browser
Open Paige in Chrome and sign in. Make sure your AI tool's browser-control feature is connected so it can work in that tab.
If you haven't connected it yet, follow the ChatGPT browser setup instructions. You can also use Claude in Chrome or another AI tool with browser control. A paid plan or browser extension may be required.
Your connected Google account should already have access to the Google Business Profile you're onboarding.
4. Send a simple message
Use this prompt, replacing [client email] with the correct address:
I want you to onboard the business that I uploaded the onboarding call log for to my Paige account. As a first step, though, I need you to look at the Paige setup agent instructions Markdown file that I attached to understand what you're doing very well. I have the Paige tab open already in this Chrome window for you to get started working on it. If you have any questions along the way, just let me know. The client's email is [client email].
The AI will read the instructions and work through the full onboarding. Stay available if it needs an answer, a sign-in, or confirmation along the way.
When it finishes, it should give you a setup summary and the links and materials requested in the instruction file, such as the image upload link, review link, and social connection links. Review the result and share the relevant items with your client.
Want clients set up a particular way?
Customize the instruction file once to reflect your agency's preferences. For example:
- Review replies: "Automatically reply to 4- and 5-star reviews. Send replies to lower-rated reviews to the client for approval."
- Video approvals: "Send all videos to our agency for approval."
- Client access: "Give clients View access to Reports and Edit access to Images."
- Business updates: "Ask clients if there's anything new to post about every 10 days."
- Citations: "Keep Citations off unless I ask you to enable them."
You can edit the file yourself or ask ChatGPT to update those preferences for you.
Keep the instruction file reusable. Put each client's email in your message to the AI. Keep their business details in that message or the attached notes.
For a preference that applies to just one client, add a sentence to your prompt, such as: "For this client, use a friendly tone and no emojis."
Ready for the next client?
Start a new conversation, upload the same instruction file with the next client's notes, and change the email in your prompt. Your preferred onboarding process is ready to go again.
Setting up your own business? Follow the same steps using your business information and email, and tell the AI you're onboarding your own business.
